Teacher's Aide

Grace Hill Settlement House is currently accepting applications for the following position:

POSITION TITLE: Teacher’s Aide

REPORTS TO: Teacher and Director Educational Services

STATUS/HOURS: Regular/Full- time

PAY RANGE: $9.43 - $12.76 per Hour

POSITION SUMMARY: Perform the duties required to provide assistance to Teachers in the care and education of students.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Experience: Requires nine (9) months (one school year) experience working with children ages three (3) to five (5), 3 hour credit in Child Development or CDA or the capability of receiving CDA in 2 years.

1. Ability to perform duties in a professional manner.

2. Must be punctual and reliable.

3. Must be able to follow directions.

Residency and Transportation Requirement:

Preference given to residents of a Grace Hill service area.

License(s)/Certification(s) Required:

Must pass physical exam (including TB test)

Must pass required security checks (CAN screening, police check)
