Head Start
Grace Hill is a grantee of the Head Start program, serving 1,500 3 to 5 year old children and their families in St. Louis City. This comprehensive program is designed to foster the healthy development of young children, providing services to promote academic, social and emotional development, as well as providing social, health and nutrition services for income-eligible families. Head Start is a federal program recognized as one of the most cost-effective and successful programs in the nation for children.
Grace Hill provides an inclusive environment that supports children with varying needs.
Extended day options are available at all Grace Hill Head Start sites for children ages 3-5 years, before and after the regular school day from 6am-6pm. Fees are paid on a sliding scale for this child care option.
Our Head Start services are provided through twelve locations - six Grace Hill operated sites, five partner agencies and one delegate agency.
