Grand Opening scheduled for Grace Hill’s new Water Tower Health Center
By Gerald Sonnenberg
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Grace Hill Neighborhood Health Centers is hosting a grand opening celebration of its new Water Tower Health Center on April 30 at 2 p.m. The beautiful 18,500 square foot facility is located at 4414 N. Florissant, across the street from its former location on N. Grand.
The new facility replaces the former Water Tower Health Center structure that was destroyed by fire in April, 2009. The larger, state-of-the-art facility will provide added capacity for doctors, dentists and other clinicians. Grace Hill anticipates increasing access to care by at least 30 percent.
Two million dollars in funding for the project was provided by the Missouri State Legislature and endorsed by Governor Jay Nixon. The architectural firm Arcturis designed the new facility, and Paric Construction was the general contractor.
