ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Beginning Monday, June 22, the services previously located at Grace Hill Neighborhood Health Centers’ (GHNHC) Water Tower Health Center, 4308 N. Grand, will be provided from the Grace Hill Hadley Health Center at 2524 Hadley. The Water Tower services were interrupted due to a three-alarm fire on April 16.
The Hadley location was once used as a clinic and was most recently GHNHC’s Program Management Office. It is next door to the Grace Hill Settlement House Administrative Offices. Staff previously working at 2524 Hadley were relocated to the 6th floor of the Scott Properties Building at 100 N. Tucker where GHNHC’s Business Management Office is located.
Construction on Grace Hill Neighborhood Health Centers’ new Water Tower Health Center replacement facility at 4414 N. Florissant, across the street from its former location on North Grand, begins this month. The groundbreaking event is scheduled for June 24 at 10 a.m. The new facility is scheduled to be open to the public by the summer of 2010.
Since the fire, Grace Hill’s Water Tower patients have been scheduled with their providers at Grace Hill’s Murphy-O’Fallon Health Center at 1717 Biddle.
A part of St. Louis for more than 100 years, Grace Hill Health Centers, Inc. (GHHC) is a federally qualified health center and provides low-cost, primary and preventive health care at six locations to primarily low-income and uninsured residents in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County. GHHC is accredited through the Joint Commission.
